A lucid and withering defence of truth in climate science has been delivered to Australian audiences by a New Zealand political leader. Hon Rodney Hide, Minister of Local Government, is leader of the ACT Party, a coalition partner of the governing National Party. He was in Melbourne and Sydney speaking at launches of the book, Climate: The Counter Consensus, authored by Professor Bob Carter, a foundation member of the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition, and recently appointed Chief Science Adviser to the International Climate Science Coalition.
